Month 2-13: BOM Kit includes cotton fabric background and hand-dyed wools for 1 block for $24.95

Months 14: BOM kit includes cotton fabric background and hand-dyed wools for 1 block,

$25 plus S/H minus the deposit of $25.

 "A Primitive Garden" pattern is needed for instructions and must be purchased separately with your BOM order for $75 minus 20% if you purchase it and pay for it in full OR you may pay for this pattern in 14 installments of $5.35 each month.

Optional thread kit (hand picked by Lisa Bongean) includes Valdani #12 perle cotton and Valdani 6-strand cotton embroidery floss, Weeks hand-dyed threads and DMC #8 and #12 perle cotton threads. Thread kits can be purchased for $9.95 per month.

Backing is optional at 20% off the retail cost of a total of 5 yards and will be sent with your first shipment.

 Whether you garden or not, you can surely appreciate this beautiful wool-on-cotton appliqué quilt! Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings delights us with visions of gardening implements, crows, and floral displays. Simple embroidery stitches such as blanket, stem, couching, and satin stitches and french knots are employed in this quilt when applying the wool shapes to the backgrounds. Anyone can learn how to appliqué wool! Finished quilt measures 70" by 82".

Note: We are asking you to pay a $25 deposit with your first month kit. The deposit will be refunded in the last month of the program. This helps us to cover the cost of holding the fabric needed for the project.

Terri’s (Whimsicals) vision for this quilt came to her while gazing out her studio window on a cold winter day at all her neighbors’ houses. Longing for those warm summer days when children and their parents can be seen about in their yards, and leafy green trees and colorful flowers are plentiful, she designed this quilt with all her neighbors’ houses on it and called it “Cabin Fever” to calm her stir crazy feeling!
